(add on) is it acceptable for a mom to bathe with her son?

There is already a post about Father and Daughters bathing... Well how do you feel about a Mother bathing with her Son? (These are all obviously dependent on age)

I will shower with my son until I feel there is a reason not to. If I sense he is uncomfortable then it ends ASAP, but he is three and is more concerned about the bubbles on my shower puff than anything else.

In the case where you have no choice single parent. 
Why can't the son shower bathe with the father if there is a time crunch?
I however feel that you should bathe children alone it seems to be safer like not CO sleeping.
I never took a bath or a shower with my child. If I was in the bathroom and door was closed then it was private time. Door open doing hair or brushing teeth then child could come in.

I think at a certain age you should stop but when my boys were small they always take a bath or shower with me they wouldn't get in there without me and they're very comfortable with being naked and not sexualizing it so I stopped when they were 6 + 5 because I felt that at that age they could take one by there self it's never been awkward or an issue in my family as long as nothing inappropriate is happening I don't see a problem with it
