Provera help?

Question

I was prescribed provera only for 10 days to induce my period because I haven't had a period in 3 months, I have been taking it for 6 days now and still haven't got my period. Is it possible that I could be pregnant? Before I went on provera I had a pregnancy test through blood work (HCG levels) and it came back 6mL of HCG! But I done it again and when the results came back the doctor didn't tell me how many mL of HCG was in my blood this time he just said that I wasn't pregnant... If I'm taking provera and am pregnant can I miscarry? If I'm not pregnant does provera help concieve if you have PCOS?

You won't start your period until after you finish your provera pills for me I started a day after but my doctor said its common to start 3-7 days after finishing the pills. If after a week you don't start your period id call your doctor otherwise it's completely normal. Provera keeps your temperature up like after you ovulate and once you stop taking the pills your temperature drops basically triggering your period.

I did the whole Provera thing. It sucks but I feel like it did eventually help my body kickstart to get periods. I started bleeding 4-5 days after the last Provera pill...so just give it time.

During this whole mess of me going to my GYN about a thousand times since i stopped my birth control in August- I learned that I have a mild case of PCOS. I was given the option to take Provera again, but I don't want to go through that again. So, I was also given a medication called Metformin and I feel like it's actually going to work for me because I actually got a period on my own this month! Good luck!

You probably won't start your period until after provera. I started my period 12 days after finishing a week of provera
