My boyfriends family is " excited " about us having a baby I'm 15 weeks along were having a gender reveal party next wk. And my parents are throwing it. The mothers were gonna go in on everything but his family didn't seem to be really involved when we told her we were gonna do balloons instead of a cake for thr gender she got mad but the weather where we live is shitty. So it's bck to the cake. So I told her so she's in the loop and doesn't feel left out she got mad. She said she'll jusy buy the decorations.

My bf has 2 previous kids and they never really see them we ask them to take them over night and it's always some excuse they call seeing them 2 hrs a weekend seeing them when they always ask to go there. His sister is the same way always has something to say. His sister and mom tried to tell me I wasn't gonna get up with the baby and everything I liked was to high in price. While I was showing them wat I liked I was really excited and happy and she started ask her daughter ( my baby's aunt and bfs sister ) what she liked. She also tried to invite her to my gender ultrasound without me knowing... I've sent his mom plenty of things I like that is " cheaper " and it's no no no that's to much idt I'm gonna buy that or if she says it's cute she'll be like we'll why do you need that

.. my parents have got us the bassinet swing bouncer monitor and are throwing the gender party ordering us the cake which is 100$ and throwing the shower plus whatever else they get us. My bf doesn't understand why I kinda don't feel like they should be around.
