TMI.. CM question.

Just wondering if anyone who has had experience with judging CM to detect ovulation could answer this for me.

Yesterday and today, I had stretchy, stringy CM. I'm not sure if it was really EWCM or not.. When I wiped, it stretched from my vagina to the toilet paper. I did another CM check later on and it stretched between my fingers. Could this be an indicator of ovulation? I have had this before, when we weren't TTC yet. Usually 1-2 days of the month but not any other time.
