My wife ask me how any people I been with and I can't really remember I guess I told her some different answers. I know it's been less then 10. We been together for 5 years.

Idk I would like to know if it were my husband. The person I'm talking to now won't tell me how many woman he's slept with and said hes never even told his ex wife. It's something he'd rather keep to himself. I'm not sure if I really care about the number but it's more curiosity in my part. I know he's had his fare share of woman and it doesn't bother me as long as he's clean.

Sounds like she's insecure about something and is testing you to confirm her doubts.

If you're not confident in how you reply it will effect her perception.

It could be nothing on your side. But it's a typical tactic when someone in the relationship is insecure (her in this case)

It shouldn't matter but to her it does. Some women take that number and think you're a male slut and just want to sleep around. All women are different.
