Help my house in infested with fleas we have a cat but she doesn't even go outside we Hoover every day but they just keep coming and coming try and have a nap on sofa and they jump all over me I'm covered in bites I wanna get it sorted before baby comes but I just don't no what to do anymore and it's getting me really sad

Don't worry honey, fleas are really easy to kill! If your cat is up to date on her shots, take her a groomers for a flea dip. While she's gone, you could either bomb your house (Not with a legit bomb, but it's a can that when set off, will release a poison and kill practically everything around it. You can get it at Walmart, Walgreens, any superstore, really.) Then, when you get back (I think you have to be gone like two-four house, wetvac your house, also, since your cat will be at the vet (most vets do grooming services), get her on some pills to kill the remaining fleas on her. All together it'll be a little pricey, but you, your cat, and your baby will thank you, it's absolutely worth it! You might not get EVERY single flea in this one round, depending on the severity, you might have to do this two or three times during your pregnancy. Good luck!

Fleas drops on the cat and spray micodex everywhere in the house..carpets pet beds human beds. Only had to spray once and everything was dead. You can buy it at the vets office. It's what they use.

You'll need to flea bomb the house and wash all of your laundry in hot water. And then if you go to your vet office, they can give you a spray for your upholstery.

We had the same problem a few years ago. Google diatomaceous earth. It's all natural and won't harm your pets or kids if you have kids. We sprinkled it all over our house and cats and vacuumed daily. We repeated The process every other day. The fleas were gone within a week.

My parents had this same problem, they have birds so they can't use many chemical sprays. Salt on the carpet for 5minutes and then vacuuming kills eggs and adults in the carpet. But you can call you local pest control company and they can spray for it and lasts up to 6months, just make sure your animals are getting deflead while your house is getting sprayed. 
&if your dogs can't stop scratching, mix 1/3 cup coconut oil with a drop of lavender . us it as an ointment. Helped my pup .

I have treated my yard, house and animals and still have fleas. My animals get bathed twice a week (only bc of the fleas), I put this dust stuff on them, and otc flea drops plus getting combed with everyday. I bombed my house anytime the dust on the carpet. I treated my yard with this spray (it killed the fire ants but not the fleas) and put a time release stuff down and still have fleas. My dog goes outside long enough to pee and poo and only in my treated yard. 
The only thing left to do is take my animals to the vet to have them treated (my dog hates the vet so I was waiting until it was time for her shots) and have professionals treat my house and yard.

Buy some raid flea bombs, vacuum really good then set them off per box instructions. Be prepared you will have to do some serious cleaning afterward (we clean carpets with a rug doctor and clean anything and everything the poison may have touched. After you've done the cleaning a couple times a week take table salt and sprinkle it all over your carpets and furniture if you have fleas there then let it sit then vacuum everything up. The salt attacks the fleas that were missed. Good luck it's a headache! We went through it twice! Best to get your yard treated too.

Sprinkle boric acid into the carpet. It's not harmful to people or pets. It's like as acidic as table salt. You can find it at hardware stores, most supermarkets and dollar stores.

Let it sit for a day then vacuum and repeat. It'll take a week or 2, but they will die. It works to kill anything with an exoskeleton. I've used it on cockroaches before with great sucess.

U can bye the sprays alat places like home depot and Lowe's read them tho and make shure thy say there for fleas on the back it will have a list of bugs there for thy work pretty good but then u have to get ride of them on ur cat when my cat got them I used down dish soap iwet him put the down and held him for a few minutes to let it set for a little then rinsed him and u wnt to do that a few times if it's really bad also when u pray u have to leave the house for about 4 to 6 hours
