Hubby complaining he's tired! Wtf?!?

Is anyone else annoyed when their husband/ SO complains about being tired or exhausted when we mommas are the ones getting up every couple Hours to feed? Love him dearly but hard to have sympathy for him at this point!

Nah, I don't mind. Just because I'm more tired doesn't mean he isn't.

No, my husband gets up with us during feedings (unless I manage to sneak out of the room quiet enough to not wake him) just in case I need any help and waits on me hand and foot during the day because I had an episiotomy and am in so much pain. He has the right to be tired too and I would be surprised if he wasn't with all of the cooking/cleaning/taking care of the baby that he does. He lost sleep during my labor as well. Maybe he wasn't pushing for 6 hours during an 18 1/2 hour labor, but he was beside himself seeing me in pain and frustrated for that long and tending to me during that time. I try to put myself in his shoes and although his role hasn't been near as difficult as mine, it doesn't take away from the fact that it's not easy.

No, he is entitled to feel tired too. He is going to work then helping me with the kids in the evening and he is willing to get up whenever I need him during the night.
No need for him to wake for each feeding, but if our toddler wakes or even if I just need a glass of water he helps me. 
It's not a competition of who is more tired, we're in this together

The only time I was irritated at my husband for telling me he was tired was in the delivery room. I had pushed for about 30 minutes and he was telling me how tired he was from the 20 hour labor.

Not at all. My husband works all day to provide for our family. When he comes home he washes up and immediately takes care of our 3 week old daughter so I can rest. If he weren't so wonderfully supportive and helpful I guess I would be frustrated!

Not at all, we take turns feeding our son at night. I was more exhausted at night than he was because Im in the middle of clinicals while he had 24 days of paternity leave. He just went back today and Im on my last week of clinicals. We shall see how we both feel by the end of the week lol

Yeah it's annoying ;-/ I finally snapped on Friday I hadn't had a shower in 4days I flipped out and made him watch our son. He's so dense about baby's :-/! He just sleeps through the baby yelling. I went outside for some air when the baby fell asleep last night and he came out and accused me of leaving the baby to cry when he was sleeping. Hope he gets more helpful.
To make matters worse he's working for his brother in law: for free! He's gone 12hours a day not making any fucking money.

Yep, my hubby pulled that a few times till I straighten him out on how he'd had more sleep than me, etc...he's not one that deals with getting g woken up good but he's slowly getting better at it...
