Ovulation?

So last week was the week I was supposed to ovulate, and my cervix was high and soft. I took opk every day which were all negative. My cervix is now high and firm. Is it possible that the clear blue digital tests that I took didn't detect it and I still ovulated or did I not ovulate this cycle? I had EWCM for a couple days during that time as well. This is my first time doing opk so it's making me think I just don't ovulate. Has anyone else had similar experiences?
