6 wks to vacation.. what if I'm pregnant!?

I'm very scared that I'm going to be pregnant just before I go and not know and spend the week at an all inclusive in Mexico. 
With my son I took 3 tests and it kept coming negative until the doctor tested. 
I want to have a great drunken time with my friends.. if I test and it's negative. . And I have a fun filled drunken week.. and find out I was actually pregnant.. what are the risks? I've read that it would be very unlikely to affect anything so early but I want some real mom advice.

I'd be more concerned about that virus in Mexico rather than getting drunk? Once you get the virus it stays with you (can't think what it's called)

I don't want to be a Debbie downer but the girls are right, the ziga virus is very dangerous to unborn babies right now and there is not a lot known about it. My friend was going to travel to South America and the vaccination department basically told her that she was better off not going if she was planning on having children in the next few years. Experts do not know how long the ziga virus stays in your body or if it lies dormant there and effects a baby in the future. Secondly a lot of research has shown that alcohol can do the most damage a foetus in the first 12 weeks, that is the period of time when the babies spine, brain, heart and nervous connections are developed.

I don't know that zika is a worry in mexico, and ur baby has a protective sac like thing around it the first few weeks, if ur preggy Ull be a'ight;)

Maybe call your doc and explain the situation to see if they can do a blood hcg before you go. That would be a pretty certain way to know.
