My husband and I did mine at 25 weeks. I tech started it at like 17 weeks just to put the stroller I decided on, on it so I didn't forget which one it was lol but then it just sat until we went to the store to register

Now! Have fun! I started mine right away when pregnant with my first. It was fun to work on it when I couldn't tell anyone yet. It was my little secret for a while! And you will probably edit that thing a million times before giving birth anyway. Some sites even offer contests where you can win your registry, so go nuts! :)
