Ice tea???

Hi ladies what are your thoughts on unsweetened ice tea? Safe or not safe to drink while pregnant ?

I've been drinking caffeine my entire pregnancy. No issues with baby so far.

All I drink is iced tea, brewed at home, all day everyday. I told my doctor and she wasn't concerned about it.

Why wouldn't it be safe? It does contain some caffeine, but thats up to you.

Depends what kind of tea it's made out of. I'm an avid tea drinker who drinks all kinds of teas (I even have a tea blog, that's how much I love it hahah) and you need to keep in mind what ingredients are used in your tea. Some herbal flowers can activate your uterus, making them bad for pregnant women.

If you're drinking regular black tea, then you'll be fine - just keep in mind that it does have caffeine.

I have an addiction to sweet tea ... I brew my own and use the decaf version ... My dr scolded me because I guess it's a diuretic :( so I've tried to cut back but ... Yum sweet tea.!
