What are the chances of BV causing a miscarriage?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I just started getting uncomfortable symptoms of BV. My doc won't treat me in my first trimester, but then I learned that BV can cause 2nd trimester miscarriages. That's even worse!

Will BV cause miscarriage if I wait to treat it in my 2nd trimester?

When I got pregnant with my daughter I got BV and didnt get treated until second trimester and everything was just fine.

BV is transient and often will come back. If you're not showing symptoms there's no reason to treat it.

I just got finished with my round of antibiotics and I'm still in my first trimester, 2 weeks until my 2nd! I'm feeling great!
