Not telling family baby names?

Hi, all!
Just curious what others have decided. 
We are going to tell everyone the gender, but we are keeping our names a secret from everyone aside from my sister in law, my mother, and our two best friends who are 5 days more pregnant than we are. 
What is everyone else doing?

P.S.- I've gotta tell you ladies, of course! Our boy name is Hayes Michael, our girl name is Jaclynn Rose. 😊❤️

I don't like telling names, when you do that before it's officially on a birth certificate you get opinions. When it's already your babies name no one tries to talk you out of it, or suggest something else.

We kept the name a secret. I'm pregnant with my second and will probably do the same this time.

We didn't tell with the first, won't with the second either. I was surprised how many people were offended we wouldn't tell them our tried to talk me into it. " I won't tell anyone.. You can tell me" haha nope!

We did and we are still regretting it. It depends on your family but ours had some very strong, not encouraging opinions about our names and we get hassled constantly with their alternative suggestions. Its pretty annoying.

I'm not telling anyone until the baby is born what the name is gonna be of its a boy my grandparents have an idea because I talked about a name with my other two daughters but no one knows for sure and we have not even thought of a girls name yet.

We are only telling a few close, non judgey people. I love my mom and we get a long, but she likes traditional names and I like names that are just a bit different.  I don't think she means to sound rude, but she does.

Told our parents and siblings the names. In laws don't want to know gender but my parents do. So we won't be publicly announcing gender. I know I can trust immediate family with names because our siblings arent having anymore children.

My Mother in law is a total nightmare and will try and force us to name it after her on some way if it's s girl, but we won't be. It won't be a secret though. I think it helps everyone bond with the baby while it's not a tangible thing...
