So I'm having a little girl in July. And I've already picked out her name which is Elaina Jane. Jane is my grandmas name who just passed away last sept. Well my grandpa on my dads side is called EJ for short. And everyone on my dads side is trying to call my BabyGirl EJ after him. (He is still alive and I am not naming her after him.) and I've asked politely to stop referring to her as EJ. Idk if I'm over reacting because of my hormones but I don't want her to be called EJ. I was away at bootcamp when my grandmother passed didn't get to say goodbye and i went through a lot after , including getting seperated because it was like I lost my mom. I want her to be remembered through my daughter. Am I overreacting or should I try a different name or spelling? Please help me as I'm at wits end with hearing "how's baby EJ doing" thanks in advance!
