Hey ladies! I have a few questions about music classes in community classes. I recently took a year off after graduating high school to figure out what I truly wanted to do. I feel as if I want to practice music for a living, or teach music. But the catch is that I don't know anything about music theory, and I'm very average when it comes to my piano skills. I just want to be able to take music classes, without feeling intimidated by my lack of knowledge. So I guess my question is, do you have to know music theory before you enter any classes? Are there beginner classes for newbies like myself? I'm just very frightened.
