Surrogate?

Question

So I just turned in my application to be a surrogate for NWSC.  My husband said I could but is really worried he will fall in love with the baby and be bitter/broken when we have to give it up.

I know a lot of people say that it's different because you know it's not yours the entire time, but realistically, has any surrogate struggled or spouse struggled, and how did you cope?

I don't want to walk into this blind or disillusioned.

I'm a surrogate. 
One thing, your not giving the baby(s) up, your giving them back. They do not belong to you. I can't wait to give these babies to their daddies and be able to sleep again. It's a lot of work and you need to be committed. If and when your ready, make sure your partner is as well. This isn't an easy thing to do so hang on and enjoy the most rewarding ride of your life

I'm 9 weeks with my surrogacy! I call her Panda, and am very fond of her, but I rejoice in the fact that I will be just babysitting and handing her back over to her loving parents in November! Then I get to pump and donate my milk! I've never done that before.

I tried to be a surrogate once for a gay couple. But I stopped it because I knew me and my SO would fall in love with the baby and then not want to give it up. But I strongly Encourage you to do it. It's a wonderful thing for someone to do for a couple who can't conceive. Good luck though !
