Breastfeeding

I'm considering breastfeeding although a lot of mums I know went with the formula option. Now I'm worried about the whole breastfeeding experience because I have no one to ask first hand there opinions on it. Anyone thinking of breastfeeding or have already breastfed? Does it hurt or is it uncomfortable? Would I be able to keep up with it or do the nippels get sore after a while and would I want to quit? I really want to breastfeed my baby but I'm nervous, please help!🙈
