Which day of your period is most painful?

I'm curious because I hear a lot about day 2, but mine is day 1

My first full day is the worst (so say I start the night before, it would be the next day because it's the first actual full day)

Before i started my birth control my hips and tailbone would hurt for 2-3 days before my period, and then the first 2-3 days I'd have bad cramps that if i didnt take aleve as soon as they started and use a heating pad I'd feel nauseous and miserable all day, and then I'd have to make sure that the aleve stayed in my system for at least 3 days or the cramps would come back and be worse. I'm on the tail end of my 1st period on bc and it was much less painful (and shorter!! They used to be 7 days 😣)! I only took aleve and used heat on the first day but the pain was maybe a 4 compared to 7 before bc.
