Is it safe to eat liver or pâté ???

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and been having cravings for liver and pate I have been told by friends that is not good for you but other have said that it is good for you with a lot of vitamin A  in moderate amount... So is it safe to eat a t 23 weeks pregnant???

I honestly have no idea because eve never eaten it. I can tell you that I've read articles about people cutting liver up and freezing them and eating them like prenatal vitamins so I know people out there do it. Also there are a lot of crazy people in the world so that doesn't count for much. I would ask a nutritionist or your doctor. Whichever you can get ahold of first. I don't think I would trust google for that kind of knowledge haha what kind of liver are you looking at chicken or beef or some other kind?
