Fail the glucose 1 hour test?

Did any of you fail the 1 hour glucose test and pass the 3 hour?? Not looking fwd to doing the add'l testing. I did have coffee before initial testing so hoping that threw it off. 😩🤔😷

I did! I fails the 1 hr by 7 pts and passed the 3hr with flying colors... The doctor said my numbers were so good she didn't understand what happens with the 1 hr. Good luck to you!

I failed the one hour with a 184. Then went on to pass the 3 hour. I was guilty of eating a bagel an hour and a half before my one hour though...

I did...and I hadn't eaten in over 12 hours when I did my one hour test.  You are not suppose to fast before your 1hr test but they suggest eating something high in protein.  The worst thing about the 3hr test is the fasting and waiting between blood draws.

I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour test. Gestational diabetes runs in my family so I was surprised to pass. It's not fun, but it's worth doing. You want to know—the possible outcome of untreated diabetes is just not worth skipping a few hours discomfort. Plus you might pass! There is hope!

I did but I was really sick when I took the 1hr which turns out even a simple cold can cause you to fail.

My doctor doesn't do the 1 hour test at all, because she said a large amount of women fail it, with a false positive. She goes right for a two hour test, fasting. She also said that it's not required to fast for the 1 hour, but that is exactly why so many moms fail it and if someone were to take a 1 hour test, she would suggest they fast anyways, to help with test accuracy.
