Sex & Romance after 10 years??

My husband and I have been together 10 years.. married 6. He used to be romantic. He would cuddle, hold hands, kiss, etc... he was always capable of "turning me on" and never struggled in the bedroom. Lately it's been hit and miss. The romance seems to be dead. He puts no thought into special occasions anymore and could go days without touching me and be ok with it. He says I'm too hard to turn on and doesn't care to try. I feel so disconnected from him even when i try to be romantic towards him. What is happening? Does everything just die down after 10 years? Or is this just the beginning of a dead relationship?

Go on vacation and make it all romantic at the hotel get a new lingerie outfit feed each other strawberries dipped in chocolate.  Get away from home and try to spark it up. It may help,  do things that you used to when you first fell in love with each other.  Good luck!!

Do you have children together? My parents are high school sweet hearts and have been married for 22 years, together for... I don't even know forever. Lol. 
My dads not super romantic and they fight like an old married couple sometimes. To the point my mom jokingly tells me she wants to smother him with a pillow 😂
But they still do it like rabbits. As their daughter it grosses me out but more power to them. 
To be honest, they were going to counseling for a while and their relationship got 10 times better. The communication between them was amazing. 
They also like to go out to breakfast sometimes together and just make a day with them every once in a while. After 4 kids and knowing each other since they were 13 I'd probably struggle with keeping the spark also. But they try, and I applaud them for that.

Maybe look into the therapy thing, my dad is super stubborn but even he agreed to go.

I think every relationship goes through phases. We've been together and married 14 years, sometimes its good, sometimes its ehh. Work and life gets in the way. So that's when you take some time away, go do some sort of fun date activity to reconnect. We drove down to the Everglades and when kayaking in the Florida Bay. One day we decided to go to  a Wild Life Sanctuary on the whim. Once we decided around 11 am to drive 2 hrs to Sanibel Island just to see whats out there. 
Go have lunch somewhere nice where you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. Take a walk around your neighborhood. Or just make some  coffee or tea one weekend morning and sit somewhere nice and just talk, just the two of you. Just take time out to catch a breath and remember why you're together.

Weve been together 12 years, we had a few rough years, but talking openly about being unhappy was good. I did research, read articles on energizing your relationship, we read articles & discussed how we reacted. Ultimately, it took time to grow apart & it took time to grow back together. About a year or two and we were back on track.
