So, I've had both yeast infections and bv in the past. What was weird was that when I had the symptoms of a yeast infection it ended up being bv and vise versa. My gyno didn't have an exact explanation she just said it happens and that everyone's body is different. She told me I could try over the counter meds next time if I wanted to. About a week ago I felt irritated down there and almost dry. There is a slight oder but not over powering. It's kind of fishy but not completely. There's discharge but not a lot. I also had some slight burning while urinating but not a uti because I definitely know when I have one of those. I never actually know if I have bv or yeast infection so I tried Monistat three day ovules treatment. It seems like my symptoms have decreased but there's still a slight smell and sometimes I can feel the burn. What do you think it is? Should I just give in and call the doctor or try something else ?
