Undecided about which job to get.
Hi everyone,
So I've been job hunting and applied to many jobs. Two of the jobs I applied to would like to hire me. Although now I don't know which job to choose. Any advice please?
One of the jobs is with State Farm insurance agency as an agent asistant. I would have to become licensed to sell insurance, but the agency gives me three months to do so. I would get paid salary plus commission. I would get paid every 2weeks and I would earn more in this job than the other. No discounts or benifits such as medical or dental insurance, or any insurance for that matter. This is an office job I would do customer service, telemarketing and some administrative work. In the future I could become an agent myself and have my own agency. Although I'm not a fast typer. As far as selling sometimes I can convince people and sometimes I can't. Also working in an office would lead me to gain weight.
The other job is teacher's aid in a Montessori school. This job offers many benifits such as medical/dental insurance, ongoing education support and discounted price so that my daughter may attend the school. In this job I would be watching children ages 1-5. I would mostly be on my feet, planing educational activities and assisting the lead teacher. This job also requires that I complete 95 hour infant and toddler classes. The thing is some days of the month I'm moody and mean. My daughter is usually the one to make me lose my patience. Standing for so long makes my feet ache horribly as well. This job pays hourly opposed to a salary and I would get paid every 4 weeks.
Both jobs are fulltime about 9am to 6pm. Both offer paid vacation/ sick day about 12 days).
Which job should I take??
