I chose it depends because it all depends on how long it's been since we broke up and if I were over him. At this point, I'm totally devoted to my fiancé, so I really wouldn't care who dated my exes. But if you asked me the same question six years ago, I probably would say yes Id cut her off because I wasn't over him. The one time I cut off a friend for this, it was because she dated my ex after asking me the complete lowdown about our break up, including how I got a restraining order against him and how he stalked me and threatened to kill himself in my bedroom, and after telling her all that she still went ahead and dated him. First off, she must be fucking psychotic to want to date somebody like that. Secondly I wouldn't want him in my close circle again.

I feel like this can't just be a straight yes or no. If it was someone I was with for a long time (over a year), married to or was abusive to me, absolutely. I would be like uh loyalty?! But if was just a random fling or just someone who I was like eh about and we broke it off, I wouldn't be mad. I would hope my friend would tell me personally though and not have me find out my own way.

As long as he wasn't like an abusive stalker kinda guy that I wouldn't want to be around, I'd have no issues. Maybe he'll work for her even though he wasn't right for you.

It wouldn't bother me. I was only in one other long term relationship prior to meeting my husband. Is he the best person in the world (the ex)... No. Is he horrible? No. We have rekindled our friendship over the years and he gets along well with my husband. If my best friend and my ex thought something would work, I'd be absolutely supportive, they're both great humans, and everyone deserves love.
