I have been getting weekly blood work and at about week 5 my blood work showed that my numbers were not doubling like they should so the dr has been doing weekly ultrasounds for two weeks. The second ultrasound showed that the baby is not growing as fast as it should be but it had a good heart beat. The dr is not sure what to tell me why this is happening or what it means. Said it could be a sign for miscarriage but I haven't had any spotting or signs of this. I am wondering if the baby will just be small or if this means that the baby may be born with special needs. The dr said he has seen babies miscarry and he has seem babies like this born just fine. Did anyone else have this same issue? Thanks
