Esther and the election
I love to read the Old Testament stories. I find it truly amazing how God worked through people and cared for His people.
The story of Esther is one of my favorites. She was so scared just to even approach her own husband! But her actions saved her people from death. She was so brave. God made her the queen so she could do this.
There is so much uncertainty with it being an election year. Who will be the next leader of our nation?! I have to remind myself that God is in control today just the same as he was when he made Esther the Queen.
