I didn't have time to feel it lol the contractions were coming pretty close and that's all I could feel.

I didn't feel mine being put in..like at all. Not a pinch of anything. And it worked literally in seconds.

I mean it's a needle. So yea it hurt lol...but trust me...the contractions are WWAAAAYYY more painful than the epidural lol and if you need the epidural during your contractions you won't care how much it hurts when you know how you'll feel afterwards lol

No but I was so scared of the needle. I had trouble staying still through the contractions. However it was less painful than the darn iv in my arm.

Mine didn't hurt at all. The numbing shot was a quick pinch, and then yes I did feel them slide the catheter in but it was just an odd feeling, nothing at all painful. And I honestly have no idea when they took it out. I don't remember it happening or hurting at all.

First they numbed the area which was with a needle then they out the epidural in. It numbed pretty good before but of course you can still feel it go into your spine. When I remember it I cringe, for no reason really other than the weird somewhat painful feeling of the epidural needle entering the spine. While it was uncomfortable I would rate the pain of receiving the epidural at a 2 or 3 at most. The harder part was holding completely still while they did the process. There was no pain when it was removed. While I could feel every contraction as it got closer and I began pushing, it was still worth it. I tore very bad and was grateful that I was numb down there bc it took them a while to stitch me up.

No, you just feel tingling as if your foot is asleep.

I was shaking so bad thanks to back labor and contractions literally one on top of the other. I was at a 7 and the poor lady giving it to me told me if I didn't stop shaking that I soon it'd be too late. So I recall nothing other that forcing myself to be still

Supposedly they numbed my back but I don't think it worked. It hurt really bad. I felt the needle go in and go to the left. Not a good experience.
