At the end of my fifth month I began to experience on and off again back pain. Sometimes in the lower back then it would radiate over my entire back. Two weeks ago I explained this to my doctor it was starting to interfere with my classes she referred me to physical therapy being that she did not want to put me on any narcotics. My first appointment is next week but my back pain has gotten worse. It is the entire back and it subsides for a little as 30 minutes but last mostly throughout the day seems worse at night. I can't sleep because of it and now this week I have also experienced hot flashes and dizziness even in lecture. I feel very weak and extremely uncomfortable. My concern is this semester. I've already missed three labs. Can anyone give me advice on how I can mend this problem with my professors? How can my doctor help?
