40 weeks and baby not engaged

So...am I the only woman on the planet who is past their due date, hasn't lost their plug, isn't having contractions, and whose baby hasn't dropped? My belly measures 45 weeks right now and we're expecting a very healthy sized baby girl. My doctor feels it's dangerous to induce or do a sweep since the baby is not engaged - and I agree. Anyone else in a similar situation? We may need to consider a csection if baby keeps growing without engaging or showing any sign of making an entrance.
