Provera/Dr rant/vent

Went to the Dr today cause I had no period at all in Feb, 2 in Jan and now here we are March and have had two weeks of on and off spotting. I was told that the spotting was my PERIOD and that any withdrawal bleed no matter how light was good enough for her. Then she told me that I needed to stick to seeing an RE because that's the only doctor that can help me. I have been dealing with PCOS for 13 years ttc baby #1. Has anyone else gone through anything similar???
