Getting induced @37wks due to Cholestasis.
I originally was supposed to have a scheduled c-section @ 39wks, due to health issues. Then found out @34wks I have Cholestasis. So scheduled a section for 37wks. The other day went in for my group b and steroids for babies lungs, and the doc said she talked to more high risk doctors and we could be induced instead. I wasnt able to have the steroids (the doctor administering them realized In my file Im allergic to prednisone, a diff steroid with same baseline chemical as kind they were gonna give me, so they didnt want to take the chance).
So. Now I'm being induced next Tuesday.
I've been mentally preparing myself for a few weeks for a csection, not to be induced and labor!
What should I bring? Doc said it could take 4hrs or 4 days due to first child and not being fullterm.
Anything y'all recommend for the hospital bag?
I'm definitely getting excited despite this twist!
