Tips on introducing cats to baby

Does anyone have any tips on introducing my cats to the new baby when its here? Ive read giving them something with the babies smell but anything other than that?? My cats are extremely friendly they are just nosey. I dont want to have to worry every 3 seconds about it. I know smothering is a worry but my cats dont like loud noises so i feel like the baby crying will cause them to want to stay away! I have used kitty caps on them before and will most likely get them again they were just kind of hard to get to stay on their nails.
