Will starting birth control affect my cycle?

I recently got back on birth control. Will it change my cycle and days my period would normally start? I'm on the pill.

When I first started the pill, my period acted a little funky on the first pack but after that it's been regular

The pill made my period come on the brown days so yeah it changed mine but idk how it is for everyone
