Baby swing for heavy child?

Question

Any one have any recommdations? We started out with a Rockaroo and it was great until my boy was about a month old and then it just kept shutting off. Contacted support and they said the motor was faulty- sent me a new one and same thing. I came to conclusion my baby is too heavy.

Now we have a fisher price swing and my baby loves it so much. He naps in this daily. But im worried he's getting too heavy for it too. He's only 15 weeks old. Not sure how much he weighs now but if I had to guess I'd say he's about 16-17 lbs! He's a big boy. Born at 10.8 lbs and growing quickly!

I'm so worried about how we will handle nap time once he outgrows this swing! I need product recommendations for things that can take a big baby

Update for others who may come across this and want an answer too- I discovered the baby bjorn seat. A natural bouncing seat that can be used up to two years old! I borrowed a friends and my baby loves it

I have a ingenuity swing it hold up to 40lbs I believe. My daughter loves it and she's about 17 lbs now and it's still working perfectly.

The graco swings hold up far better for heavy babies! I used the older graco silhouette swing until my son was two (and about 25lbs) .

Have you looked for one with a higher weight tolerance and speeds so as baby gets heavier you can turn the speed up. I'm pretty sure there's a 5 speed one!
