Can your diet affect your fertility?

Question

I've heard stress, sleep and what you do during the day can affect your chances of getting pregnant, but what about what you eat? I could use a better diet but I was wondering how big of a part if any does it take in fertility?

Regardless diet affects your baby and if you're trying to get pregnant you should eat right for baby, lots of fruit and veg not too much red meat and pregnancy vitamins as well as plenty of water. 
It will affect your fertility if you eat really bad and most doctors will say three months prior to trying to conceive you should adjust your diet. It's been linked to obesity and diabetes in children if your health isn't good.
