C- section vs. Induction

Please don't be negative as I am only doing what is best for my baby!!! My doctor has chose that taking my baby out at 37 weeks is baby's best option, as he seems to be in distress regularly along with some other issues. This is next week. I will be receiving steroid shots beforehand to help with lungs. Anyway as of this moment baby boy is breech again (he flipped and we thought we were safe then he flipped back). So I'm scheduled for a csection next Thursday. He could still possibly turn again although not likely. In that case, I would be switched to induction Thursday. I have never had a csection, so I'm not sure what to expect. But I have had an induction with my first, which led to being sent back home with strong contractions for a week, and being brought back the next week to try again and I was in labor 48 hours and it was ridiculously miserable!!! So I'm thinking of regardless position going ahead and asking for him to continue with section. My question is mostly to moms who have had both, what would you do, and which would you choose?
