The great debate... Pampers vs Huggies?

Question

I received both from my shower and have tried them over the past 5 weeks. So far I've had two leaky pee diapers out the side (when she lays on her side to feed) with Huggies Snugglers and I've had three explosive poop up the back with Pampers Swaddlers. The Swaddlers feels nice and soft, not like the typical diaper but I feel like the Snugglers fit my baby better. I don't know. I can't really figure out which I like better to buy more of...

I prefer huggies just because pampers are the only kind I've had blowouts which could probably just be a coincidence. But I just buy whatever is on sale

I like huggies because all my three kids got a rash with pampers so I will start with huggies this time

I like pampers. Yes I've had blow outs with pampers and huggies but I've never had pee leaks with pampers. I got pee leaks and blow outs with huggies though. I think blow outs are inevitable lolz

Huggies little snugglers worked best for size newborn and size 1. Beyond that pampers swaddlers have worked better and fit her better but didn't when she was a newborn.

I've used both. Honestly... For my daughter neither work very well. Pampers she blows out up her back and huggies she blows out the sides. I recently switched her up a size bc I thought that was the problem and although the size 2 does fit better with huggies she still leaked on the sides. I just tried up and up (target brand) because I got a bunch at my shower and I am in love with them! 3 days - no blow outs or accidents and they're way cheaper then pampers and huggies. Another brand I was surprised by were earths best. They are not the softest but I will say they are extremely durable, don't have any scents or dyes and she never had any accidents. So if I decide I want to spend more one day I may grab a small pack but I think target brand will be my go to from here on out. Every baby is different though. You have to see what works best for yours

I love Pampers. 
Just looked better and more comfy to me. Then when I tried Huggies wipes, I was completely turned off. --Huggies, to me, feels like wet cardboard while Pampers feels like wet tissue.

So I just overall prefer Pampers. (My son went through the explosive poop up the back phase too.)

**But we now use Kirkland Signature/Costco everything because of the price. Great quality, lots of money saved.**

They're neck & neck but id say huggies just like you I've had blowouts with pampers. Nothing stops the poop from goin up the back 😭
