My husband and I have been TTC for 15 months and finally decided to look into fertility issues. We have an appointment next week with my GYN. I'm excited to find out if anything is going on that is preventing me from conceiving, but am also ridiculously anxious & somewhat scared too. I'm afraid of being told I am infertile. Yes, I know adoption is an option (& we plan to also adopt), but I want to have the experience of carrying our child that we created together & I will be devastated if I find out that isn't possible.

Anyhow, just wondering what I should expect at this appointment? Will they have to do a vaginal ultrasound or something?
