Stocking up on baby clothes?

Hi! Im a FTM and was wondering how many outfits/onesies to buy in every size?

My lo was in nbs for 6wks and she wasn't that little. She was 7lbs 11oz at birth(she was never even in nb diapers) then she pretty much skipped to size 6 and now at 4months she 17lbs and in 9's. With any baby stuff its never really their weight but their shape that needs to be dress and diapered. My lo is 26inches now.

Go easy on newborn and 0 to 3 because they will outgrow them in a flash.. 3 to 6 usually lasts a while and 6 to 9 also.. my youngest was in 6 to 9 forever !!! It also depends on your babies growth.  I never buy newborn. Always 0 to 3 and honestly at 0 to 3 they kinda live in footies and onsies.  I don't even bother with matching outfits until 6 to 9
