So...one granddaddy-to-be doesn't know

Well, a whole side of my family doesn't know. And I'm not hiding it anymore, but I haven't made that big facebook announcement either. I'm 18w5d and we plan on doing the whole FB thing when I'm 20 weeks and we know what we're having.

But the thing is, my father and his side of the family has never really tried to keep in touch with me, so feeling the disinterest I never really tried to keep in touch with them either. So none of them know I'm pregnant. There's also the whole part of them being strictly religious and I just know there will be plenty of 'out of wedlock' comments that I just don't want to hear.

I don't know, they've just never felt like family to be. Related, yes. Family, not so much.
