Dying hair while pregnant?

I want to dye my hair but I won't if it's dangerous to my baby I've read about it being okay but I thought i'd bring it to this site for sure

Almost twelve weeks and just dyed my hair this morning. Kept it dyed regularly through all my other pregnancies. I looked fab and the kids turned out great.

My obstetrician said spray tans and hair colouring is perfectly fine. Phew!

I read that very little of the toxins actually make it down to the baby so I believe you're good! Though a lot of people wait until after the 12 week mark just to be safe

Lacey, I'm pregnant and a hair stylist. It's totally fine to color your hair while pregnant. Obviously I'm not a doctor, but I use chemicals all day on my clients and myself, my doctor told me I was totally safe. Go ahead a beautify yourself mama!
