Does anyone know if its okay to do squats while preg?

Answer

Doing squats while pregnant is actually recommended. It is the one excercise my trainer has me doing every week.

Google says:

Squats are one of the essential exercises to do during pregnancy there are so many benefits from doing this functional type of exercise. Strengthening your glute muscles, that's your butt, helps to decrease lower back and pelvic pain.

I'm currently 9 months pregnant and less than 2 weeks away from my DD and have been doing squats throughout my entire pregnancy and I feel perfectly fine and baby is fine.

I did squats & i started having contractions that same night! it's good for me because I'm 1 day over due
