What is a high risk vs low risk pregnancy?

Question

First time being pregnant and have only seen my Obstetrician once due to travel commitments. A lot of talk and discussion about risks and odds. This may sound like a dumb question, and I have googled it, but can someone define a high risk vs low risk pregnancy? I'm assuming it's past health related issues?

Age is probably the most common. If you are 35 then automatically you are considered high risk. But yes also other health issues would put you in this group even if you are younger.

I'm low risk. I'm 23, never had any miscarriages before, blood test came back perfect, no drugs, no smoking, no drinking (during pregnancy), I consume caffeine maybe once a month (if that), I excercise regularly, I'm at an acceptable weight/height ratio, urine test was fine, and my periods have always been regular. My family history doesn't indicate any high risk factors either.

I'm high risk because my placenta is covering the ceevix causing me to bleed out....a lot!  If Placenta doesn't move I will automatically be having an early scheduled c-section.  Instead of seeing doc once a month like a normal 14 week pregnant woman, I'm seeing the doc every week and have been forbidden from doing certain activities throughout the day to keep from causing a hemmorage.   If you're under 35, your pregnancy is going well, no bleeding, no pain and baby's heart is consistent and baby is growing properly and you've had no previous miscarriages.....you're most likely low-risk. ☺

I'm high risk. I have multiple medical problems ranging from liver disease to thyroid issues. These conditions put me at risk for all sorts of complications.
It is good to note, high risk doesn't mean more difficulty automatically, just that a person, for various reasons, warrants closer monitoring and intervention. It can mean horrible things for some, but for many high risk mom's, it just means extra care is necessary. 
I didn't have many complications in my first pregnancy, and am praying for a similar outcome now, but because of my medical issues I need to be watched carefully.

I am high risk because my babies keep coming earlier. My first was born at 37 weeks, my second at 34 weeks. I am 13w 5d with my 3rd baby.
