Possibility of twins?!

Question

Has anyone had twins without knowing until later in the pregnancy? The doctor said it's only one right now but I have this weird feeling. Plus it's both my generation and my fiancés for twins. I'm only 10 weeks but I'm just curious if it's possible.

My best friend was told she only had one and when she went for her 20 week anatomy scan, surprise it's twins!! One was just hiding behind the other at her early scans.

I've actually known two women that had hidden twins and found out around their 20 week ultrasounds. What a surprise! I've been feeling the same way. I keep having crazy dreams and "what if" moments. I've asked the dr multiple times about it but he's reassured me that there's only one. Good luck! And may you be blessed with what you desire, twins or not. ;)

Someone I know didn't know she was expecting twins until she was in the delivery suite! They delivered her 1st baby and said now time for the 2nd and they thought the dr was joking but nope 5 mins later out popped number 2!

The twins on your partners side doesn't count. It's also rare to have a hidden twin.

I had an early scan because my levels were so high and the doc thought I might be having twins. When I had the scan they said they only saw one...seeing this post I'm scared!
