Feeling my uterus?

On a couple pregnancy apps, including nurture, articles say I can feel my uterus now below my belly button.  Ok... But, what Am I feeling for? What does my uterus feel like?? I'm 15w pregnant

Here's a guide to help you find it. Feel for the top of your uterus with your finger tips. Start at your belly button & walk your fingers down toward your pelvis. There will be sort of a horizontal line that just feels different, like harder. When you press on the harder area, you should feel pressure on your bladder despite the fact you're not actually pressing directly on your bladder.

U know the big bouncy balls in the ball cage at Walmart? They're like 10" wide & like $3 or so & they're multi colored? That's about as hard as your uterus feels.

I read somewhere somebody said it felt like the feeling of a rope..harder but not rock hard. I'm not sure if I would describe mine as a rope though haha. Curious how others would describe the feeling

Lay on your back and start pressing lightly with 2-3 fingers right below your belly button. Keep moving down a finger width at a time until you feel a kind of soft ridge. It will feel  rounded and firm. That's your fundus (top of uterus).
