B/C patches?

How well to birth control patches work ? Is it reliable. I have been told you have to be really small for it to work

I'm planning on switching to the patch and I am no where near small. The doctor said its really for anyone the problem is if u have belly folds u can't wear it there. So it's better to wear it on ur arm. Although the butt is an option I have aloooooot of fat there so I'm not sure if that's a reliable place to put it lol. Just check on it with ur doctor. I'm honestly scared because I'm not skinny lol I'm 5"8 and 170lbs big lower body. So I'm curious to what comments r gonna pop up. Don't know if I should stay on the shot so ur post really asked what I wanted to know ! Lol 😌👍

They say if you are over a certain weight it doesn't work as well. However, I'm WAY over that weight and had unprotected sex and didn't get pregnant. If you have FREQUENT unprotected sex and are over the weight limit but aren't ready for a baby I'm not sure if my experience would be a good measure.

Also, as for placement. I have a lot of fat on my butt but it was still a good place for me. Although my hip is even better.
