The way you count months??

Question

12 weeks would be the start of the fourth month right.    Because a person wouldnt say they are 9 months on week 40. They should say 9 months on week 36...im confused

This might help! We have to remember that each month has a little over 4 weeks which screws us up when trying to figure out how many months we are

They ask you first day of your last period and count weeks from there. According to that we go 10 months (40 weeks) but really you are correct it is 9 mo at 36

Everyone always says it takes 9 months to make a baby... But technically it's 10 months from the first day of your last period - 40 weeks. 
So I'd just stick to telling people how many weeks you are! Hehe
