NIPT Testing

Hey there - I'm going in for my Bloodwork at 11 weeks next week and the doc is suggesting NIPT test. Has anyone done this? Would you advise tithed screwing over this and why? Thanks TEAM OCTOBER BABIES!

I never do this test simply because I don't want the extra worry of a "possible" genetic disorder. Some people want it for the peace of mind. It really just depends on your own personal preference.

I'm over 40 and we did this test so we could be informed before jumping to an invasive diagnostic test. We agreed on how we felt about what to do with a positive result and I wanted to know early
