If you are living off of your family still you should tell them right away. If you are on your own but your parents won't be happy because you aren't married or whatever tell them whenever you damn well please

It won't matter, in the end. My sister in law got pregnant shortly after she started dating a guy and her parents were LESS than impressed. Hateful things were spewed and it was rough for a couple months. Now my mother in law tells my husband (her son of course) that she loves her granddaughter more than her kids, hahahah.

I think telling them right away gives them more time to get used to the new reality. It's also better if your not living with them.
