Tummy pain while peeing?! Please help me out

I'm 28 weeks on Monday, I just went to pee and bladder was quite full and as I peed my stomach tightened up so hard and hurt SOOOO bad (I screamed a little) I've had this feeling before while peeing but it was bearable; this time was just the worst with the most pain! It only lasted a moment after I was done peeing. Please tell me this is normal? No more pain afterwards.
Doctors appointment not until the 13th of April.

Yup its normal it happens to me a lot usually when my bladder is super full and I empty it. The only thing I can think of doing is pee slower, but I never remember to because when you got to go, you go. Lol. If it's the same pain I have, it was exactly how my contractions with my first felt! Like you want to lift up your belly.

I have had that as well and when i explained to my doctor she explained it was totally normal and happens because your uterus is streching tremendously.

This sounds more like a UTI. This is my third pregnancy and I've never felt that kind of pain while peeing (though I'm very aware that every pregancy is different for everyone). But it does sound like when I've had a UTI. It never burns when I pee, but is painful on the inside when I pee. Definitely try to reschedule your appt sooner. Hope you're ok!

Definitely get checked for UTI at your next appointment. Pregnant women are really vulnerable to them since they have a hard time completely emptying their bladders. Don't ignore the feeling or dismiss it as nothing. I did that for a couple weeks and ended up spending the night in the hospital getting IV antibiotics! Better safe than sorry!

I felt this once bc I held my bladder for too long. It was soooo painful I didnt wanna pee again. Now I just make sure I dont hold it and I go when I need to

Quite often when I pee I will feel my belly tighten up.. feels strange but has never been actually painful.. 😕
